“Best” Crabmeat Casserole

Make a white sauce out of
1/3 c flour
2/3 Q milk
1/3 stick oleo.

Add to white sauce
2 1/2 T mustard (regular)
2 1/2 T Worshire sauce
1 1/2 teasp celery salt
1 1/2 T parsley flakes
hot sauce (Texas pete) to taste

Crush 1/2 box unsalted saltines into crumbs & mix everything with at least 1 lb of crab meat. More crab meat makes it better.

Pour into baking ban & Cover lightly with mayonaise & sprinkle on paprika.

Bake 20 mi at 375 degrees.

(Editor’s note: “More crab meat makes it better.” If that isn’t a Grandma-ism, I don’t know what is.)
