1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1 1/4 teaspoons seasoned salt
4 1/2 ” Worcestershire sauce
2 2/3 cups Corn Chex
2 2/3 ” Rice ” cereal
2 2/3 ” wheat ” ”
1 cup salted mixed nuts

Preheat oven 225 in 15x10x2″ baking pan melt butter in oven. Remove. Stir in salt and Worcestershire. Gradually add cereal and nuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Bake 1 hour & 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.

(Editor’s note: This recipe comes straight to us from St. Matthews, from a black-and-white composition book that Julia Helen keeps of Aunt Julia’s recipes. She shared it with me — and the camera — this past summer. Looks like the subtitle of this recipe is “Merry Chex Mix.”)
